In a commanding showing, England clinched one more win versus Albania, with a number of players turning in notable displays throughout the game.

First-choice Eleven

Dean Henderson Not a save to perform before the break until called into action by Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. His sliding challenge against an Albanian attacker showed sharp reading of the game. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Tested against the opposition's primary attacker through Hoxha. Operated in a central role early on but moved wider after a teammate was introduced. Seven

The defender Moved up the pitch when in possession, a familiar role in the past. On occasion was too casual in possession and the tactic abandoned by the interval. Six

Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, per usual, but may be an alternative to Stones in the backline as opposed to his partner. A careless distribution after the break almost led to an opener for Albania. Six

Nico O’Reilly One more confident showing by the rising star following his initial appearance against Serbia. A teammate was unable to take full advantage of an exquisite backheel behind their defense. The role is his to lose already. 7

The newcomer His maiden beginning in an England shirt. Somewhat sloppy in possession but his whipped deliveries posed a danger. A handy pace-controller for the boss to utilize against teams who drop deep. Cautioned for a rash foul. Six

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and free-kicks caused problems. Had room to drift in left midfield only to be in an offside position when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Given a well-earned break around the 60-minute point. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high spot out wide while also put in the hard yards. Displayed glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot high. Withdrawn in the closing stages by a teammate, a fellow player, after being booked. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his shot excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate holding position, he was forced to provide width down the right side although his balls from wide areas were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. Six

The captain The decisive figure scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals at international level. The opener a trademark opportunist's goal and his next a superb headed goal following a clever run away from the opposition. Now 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. Eight

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Was presented with a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham yet Strakosha made the save. Rashford produced a bigger influence after coming on. 5/10
