19 of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A resurgent Medvedev secured his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Corentin Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has endured a torrid year, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his service game in particular - resulted in him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with long-term trainer Cervara.
Presently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, he has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a closely contested competitive win over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents the player's initial title following the Italian tournament and first on a hard court from spring of 2023.
Success also indicates Medvedev has achieved twenty-one victories at twenty-one various tournaments.
"It's the first time I'm at a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to secure a title is particularly special," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter her name, because the initial championship I won when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had been defeated in his past six championship matches, comprising in Halle earlier this year.
His defensive play style and frequent emotional displays on the playing surface had prompted commentators to doubt if his ability to compete at the elite level was finished.
But the athlete has implemented adjustments in the past month, striving to advance forward and perform aggressively, supported by an better service.
Medvedev came back from a disadvantage in the first set against the difficult Moutet, taking four of the last five exchanges to gain the advantage.
Both players exchanged breaks in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his first ATP Tour victory, took control to force a third set.
The opponent saved 4 initial chances in a tight third set before the Russian won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, he secured the win with a shot at the net, with Moutet incapable to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
